  16.     I am facing a problem regarding make in web2c ftpied from ftp.tex.ac.uk. After running configure script with following options:
  17.     configure --with-prefix=/usr2/joneja --with-gcc=no. After this I ran make. It ran very well till the point where it runs mf and started asking about file  modes.mf. I checked the full distribution and no such file exists. Please help asap.
